What this service is

Vegan Eats Finder is an independent directory that helps you find fully vegan, vegetarian and vegan-friendly places to eat and keep a personal list of saved places. It is informational. It is not affiliated with the places listed and does not take bookings, orders or payments for them.

No guarantee of accuracy or completeness

Listings come from the sources described on the About and data sources page. Diet type, opening hours, contact details and inspection grades can be out of date, incomplete or wrong, and some fields are not listed. The list does not cover every place. A diet label is not a certification. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

Check with the restaurant before you go

Before you travel, order or rely on any detail, especially diet type and allergies, check with the restaurant or its official website. The restaurant’s own information takes priority over ours.

Third-party data

Some data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License (ODbL) and from NYC Open Data. Names and trademarks belong to their owners. The About and data sources page explains the sources.

Acceptable use

• Do not break the law, attack or overload the site, or probe it for weaknesses.
• Do not scrape the site at a rate that harms it.
• Do not submit false reports, other people’s personal information or abusive content.
• Do not try to access another person’s account or data.

Accounts

You may create an account with a verified email address or Google sign-in. Keep your password secret and tell us if you think someone else used your account. Account data is handled as described in the Privacy policy.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time and delete your account in Me → “Delete my account”. We may suspend an account or restrict access if these terms are broken or to protect the site or other people, and we may change or stop any part of the service.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses that come from relying on the information here, including a closed restaurant, changed hours, a wrong diet label or travel costs, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
